DescriptionIn conventional electrician's screwdrivers the blade diameter is often too large to reach low-lying screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also compromises the user's safety. With the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY specially developed for electric applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade, thus allowing blades which are up to 33% slimmer. This means low-lying screws and spring elements can also be easily reached with the slimBits. The insulated slimBits undergo individual piece testing as per the international IEC 60900 standard, thus providing users with a tool to work safely on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. In addition, the slimBits are stored in a smart bit box that provides an optimal overview of the screw profiles. The contents of the Wiha slimBit sets were specifically geared at the speedE® II e-screwdriver. The smaller profiles of the red slimBits optimally complement the larger profiles of the yellow Power slimBits. The different bit colours allow the easy and quick identification of the correct power level of the speedE® II e-screwdriver to be used with each selected profile size.
